UFC star Conor McGregor says he was hit by a car while riding his bike, posting and then deleting a photo and videos of the aftermath of the incident. He does not seem injured and the driver who hit him ended up bringing him back.
McGregor, 34, who is the world’s biggest mixed martial arts star, regularly rides his bike during training.
«He fucking creamed my back,» McGregor said in a now-deleted post. video that had been posted on Instagram on Friday. «He said he couldn’t see me because of the sun.»
McGregor then says «It’s okay, it’s okay», as the driver of what appears to be a Ford Mondeo walks up and says he’s «totally sorry, seriously».
«I could have died there,» McGregor says at another point in the video.
«I’m so sorry,» the driver said then. McGregor also revealed a large tear in his pants, but otherwise seemed unharmed if he was shaken.

In another now deleted video, McGregor is seen inside the same car with his bike in the backgiven a ride away from the stage.
«I had a car hit from behind,» McGregor wrote on the Instagram post. «A solar trap, the driver couldn’t see me. Full speed straight through me. Thank God it wasn’t my time. Thank you wrestling and judo too. Having an awareness on landing saved my life.
This isn’t the first time McGregor has made headlines for reasons unrelated to MMA in the past year, or even last week, with reports Tuesday that a woman accused McGregor of attacking her on her yacht in July, allegations which he denies.
In March, McGregor was arrested for dangerous driving. The police also seized his Bentley Continental. He was released after posting bail, and the Continental was later returned to him, with the case still pending.
