Britney Spears asks fans to ‘respect my privacy’ after police wellness check, ‘prank phone calls’

Britney Spears says her ‘privacy was invaded’ after police were called to her home due to bizarre phone calls.

In a Tweeter On Thursday, the «Toxic» singer shared a message with her followers and asked her fans to «respect my privacy.»

«As everyone knows, the police were called to my house following some outlandish phone calls,» Spears said. «The police never entered my house and when they got to my door they quickly realized there was no problem and left immediately.»

«I felt intimidated and intimidated once the incident made headlines and the media once again portrayed it in a poor and unfair light,» she continued. «During this time in my life, I truly hope that the public and my beloved fans can respect my privacy in the future. All my love, B.»

The calls came from worried fans after her Instagram account was deleted.

The Ventura County Sheriff’s Office told ABC News they responded to calls out of an abundance of caution.
