Amy Robach and TJ Holmes are set to leave ABC and «GMA3» after the co-hosts’ scandalous affair, Page Six can confirm.
A source with knowledge of the talks taking place this week tells us, «They haven’t completed the mediation — but, yes, that will be the conclusion,» regarding Robach and Holmes leaving the network.
Essentially, we’re told reporters haven’t signed on the dotted line yet, but an exit deal is in the works and will happen shortly.
Sources close to ABC also told TMZ on Friday that after «extremely contentious» mediation, the station and its anchors decided to cut ties.
Robach, 49, and Holmes, 45, would receive contract payments.
However, another insider tells Page Six regarding reaching a settlement: «Unless ABC can reach a satisfactory severance agreement with Amy and TJ, they would both consider taking legal action against the network. «
We also learn that Holmes and Robach conducted the mediation talks from Los Angeles, where they both flew to follow a quick jaunt to Turk and Caicos.
A source told TMZ that during the talks, the couple were accused of «various forms of misconduct,» which the insider called a «witch hunt.»
Among the charges was the discovery of alcohol in Robach’s dressing room.
However, an insider disputed at the outlet that the allegation was «ridiculous» because ABC executives offered the bottles of alcohol.
Robach was also accused of showing up «drunk» to work after attending the college football national championship last year, which an insider said was a «nonsense» claim.
Additionally, Robach’s workplace romance with Holmes reportedly made some staffers «uncomfortable» on set.
A representative for ABC did not immediately return Page Six’s request for comment.
A workplace review lasted more than a month before ABC finally decided to cut ties with the duo.
Robach and Holmes, who had worked together on «GMA3» since 2020, were suspended from duty shortly after their off-screen relationship made headlines in November 2022.
Throughout the investigation, the couple didn’t shy away from packing on the PDA – and notably posed as teenagers while on a vacation getaway to Miami.
A source told Page Six exclusively earlier this month that the pair will likely be fired.
«They haven’t been terminated yet, but I don’t expect TJ to return,» an insider told Us at the time. «They want Amy to stay and be a part of things there, but probably not on ‘GMA3’.»
We were also told that the couple had «hired lawyers to negotiate» their departures.
A few weeks prior, however, a source told Page Six that Holmes was «confident» he would be cleared after the ABC review was completed.
«Of course he takes [the investigation] seriously, but he is confident that he has done nothing wrong that would cause him to lose his job,” the insider said at the time.
Other sources tell us that one of the reasons the review took so long was because ABC wanted to be «super careful» after more Holmes work matters came to light in the wake of the incident. announcement of her affair with Robach.
In December, Page Six exclusively reported that Robach was not Holmes’ first office lover.
Among the «Good Morning America» staffers he allegedly romanced, we heard he had a three-year affair with producer Natasha Singh during his marriage to Marilee Fiebig.
Holmes filed for divorce from Fiebig, 45, on Dec. 28 after nearly 13 years of marriage. They share Sabine, his 9-year-old daughter.
An insider previously told us that Fiebig, an immigration lawyer, was «blindsided» by her husband’s affair with his on-air colleague.
Holmes and Robach reportedly started seeing each other romantically in March 2022 while training together for the New York Half Marathon.
Fiebig broke his silence on the scandal in a Jan. 4 statement.
“During the holiday season and in light of difficult times, Marilee has focused solely on the general interest of her 9-year-old daughter,” her divorce lawyer, Stephanie Lehman, told the Daily Mail.
Lehman pointed out that she worked with Holmes’ attorney to «move [Fiebig and Holmes’] divorce privately, quickly and as amicably as possible.
Robach, for her part, is married to «Melrose Place» alum Andrew Shue, but we broke the news in December that they were close to finalizing their divorce.
She was previously married to former MLB player Tim McIntosh from 1996 to 2008. They share two daughters: Ava, born in 2002, and Analise, born in 2006.
Days after Robach’s entanglement with Holmes became public knowledge, Shue, 55, deleted all photos of his wife from his Instagram account. She has since moved out of their West Village apartment and moved to a new downtown location.
