The Suzuki Jimny can get a literal power boost as an all-electric model by 2030 now that Suzuki invests billions in electrification. After a relatively long period of uncertainty regarding its stance on electric vehicles, Suzuki is spending nearly $35 billion to produce a range of five electric vehicle models that will go on sale in Europe by the end of the decade, and one of them could be a Jimny EV. .
According to Reutersbut its first all-electric models will first be introduced in its home country of Japan in 2023. Europe and India are expected to follow in 2024, and within the next six years Suzuki plans to have between five and six EV models available in these markets.
The news comes shortly after the launch of Suzuki’s EV concept SUV, called the eVXwhich was unveiled in India at Auto Expo 2023. The eVX is based on an actual production model that Suzuki says will be introduced in 2025, although it’s unclear where it will be sold.
The company is now continuing the debut of the eVX concept with plans to manufacture a new batch of electric vehicles. One of them looks a lot like a jimmywhat tracks given the Jimny’s popularity around world. It’s also a good idea for Suzuki to make a Jimny EV as soon as possible, because a Chinese Jimny EV from SAIC-GM-Wuling looms on the horizon. It’s hard to say right now if the Jimny EV that Suzuki has teased is a five- or three-door model, although adding a battery may require the extra space of the larger Jimny 5 doors.

Bouncing back from stress
The Apollo can be used to identify stress and how you are coping with it. It claims you’ll recover faster from workouts, increase your ability to sleep soundly and improve concentration, with just three hours of wear per day.
Again, the Japanese automaker plan is apparently all about getting small and light, so it’s possible Suzuki will find a way to cram the battery into the ladder frame of the smaller combustion-powered Jimny. The three-door, that is – or two-door like most of us in the US would do refer to it.
And like everyone jimmy model that we covet since the return of the small off-roader, the US probably won’t get the Jimny EV. I guess it’s for the best, because, really, who wants a capable but adorable Suzuki’s all-electric SUV when we’ve got it all Hummer electric vehicles go around?
